Spoke wheels are made up of multiple parts, and due to the small tolerances of each part, it is impossible to assemble them all in the same way. Know-how and experience are essential to being aware of the slight tolerances and assembling highly accurate wheels.

SKF wheel seal

TYPE-R/TYPE-M is equipped with SKF wheel seals, which are hailed as the "strongest wheel seals" that have both low friction and long bearing life.
SKF's unique wheel seal with a rotating plastic shield successfully balances the contradictory elements of reducing drivetrain power loss and protecting bearings from high-pressure car washes.

TGR Factory Spec CNC Aluminum Billet Hub

A billet hub luxuriously machined from 6082-T6, the strongest material in the 6000 series aluminum. It is stronger than before and has a perfect balance between strength and weight. In addition, the spoke layout has been drastically revised from the original layout, and by widening the spoke tension angle as much as possible in the lateral direction of the vehicle body, we have adopted a layout similar to that of the factory machine, which greatly increases the rigidity of twisting between the hub and rim. We focus not only on the appearance but also on the inherent performance of the hub.
The number of spokes is 36 for all models (32 for TYPE-M), giving a high sense of rigidity. Furthermore, the hub color can be selected from six colors: red, blue, green, gold, orange, and black, allowing for a variety of machine coordination to suit individual tastes.

The spokes are made of butted style steel spokes.
Butted spokes are high-end spokes that are made thicker at the ends where strength is applied and thinner at the middle, where there is more strength, to satisfy the conflicting elements of high strength and light weight.
TYPE-R/TYPE-X uses double butted spokes that are thicker at both ends and thinner in the middle.
TYPE-M uses a hybrid of single butted and double butted parts that are thicker at one end, taking into consideration the rigidity balance.
We use high-end spokes without compromise, which many aftermarket wheel manufacturers hesitate to use due to their higher cost compared to standard straight-type spokes.

TYPE-R uses a high precision spline drive aluminum nipple.
The spline drive nipple made from A2014 material is machined with high precision, making it harder to lick and easier to manage torque than regular nipples. We luxuriously use the highest quality nipples that are expensive and only used by top manufacturers.
TYPE-M uses a conventional square style high rigidity large diameter nipple made from A7075 material.
Depending on your preference, you can also choose red, blue, green, gold, orange, or black colored anodized nipples.
